Job summary

Tracker South Africa is seeking an Analyst: Test Automation to drive world-class quality assurance within our Development and Engineering division in Centurion. You will lead end-to-end testing, define strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust automated testing solutions.

The role requires 3+ years of testing experience, proficiency in API testing, data-driven testing, and familiarity with automation tools such as ReadyAPI, SOAPUI, and Visual Studio.

Qualifications

• ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certification or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years of relevant testing experience.
• Experience in API testing and data-driven testing.
• Basic programming knowledge/understanding.
• Experience with test automation and test case development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to align testing with project objectives.
• Define and implement test strategies across projects, communicating progress and risks.
• Report on test execution, quality metrics, and defect trends for decision-making.
• Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects.
• Develop and maintain test schedules, resource plans, and effort estimates.
• Monitor testing metrics to identify quality trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive defect management and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain test management tools and automation frameworks.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and automated test suites.
