Job summary
Woolworths Financial Services (WFS) in Cape Town, SA is seeking a Test Analyst — Automation to join the CIO Software Test Team. You will translate business and technical requirements into risk-based test coverage and design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions across web, mobile, API and integrated platforms.
You will collaborate across delivery teams, drive reliable automation, and contribute to quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles and lifecycle.
- Hands-on web UI and API automation experience required.
- Experience with CI/CD integration and test reporting.
Responsibilities
- Translate requirements into risk-based test coverage.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks.
- Automate web, API and mobile test scenarios.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and monitor results.
- Investigate defects and ensure timely resolutions.
- Maintain traceability across requirements, tests and defects.
- Prepare test environments and representative data.
- Provide clear automated test reports and metrics.
