PBT Group has an opportunity for Software Quality Engineers focused on automating tests, validating requirements, and ensuring quality releases. You will work with the QA and development teams to design and implement automated tests, improve the test framework, and contribute to governance and reporting.

The role requires 4+ years in automation testing, Java, Selenium, BDD, ISTQB/ISEB Foundation, and strong SQL scripting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the systematic breakdown of business needs into features, stories and epics for delivery.
• Participate in backlog grooming.
• Participate in sprint planning, test estimation and acceptance criteria per story.
• Collaborate with Chapter Lead/Architect to understand test automation approaches.
• Improve test harnesses, automation frameworks and overall platform with the Core Technical Team.
• Promote the automation framework adopted by QA.
• Peer review automated test assets for governance.
• Collaborate with DevOps to investigate and fix bugs.
• Develop automation scripts using the automation framework for execution.
• Ensure automation provides adequate coverage within sprints and supports regression testing.
• Ensure solutions meet architectural/development standards that are reusable and scalable.
• Catalog and align automation test suites with governance.
• Test system or component testing under load and high availability.
• Log defects with defect management tool and capture root cause data.
• Communicate defect resolution progress to QA Lead.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure root cause analysis is performed and recorded.
• Report testing status daily to QA squad.
• Participate in retrospectives and stakeholders showcases.
