Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Senior Quality Test Engineer I to lead automated and performance testing across projects, collaborating with Product, Project, Engineering and Operations to plan testing for deliveries.

Role requires extensive QA testing experience, familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, knowledge of QA methodologies, and using CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins to integrate testing into the DevOps pipeline.

Qualifications

• Extensive QA test engineering experience required.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Experience integrating testing suites in DevOps delivery pipelines.
• Ability to develop and execute automated and performance testing.
• Ability to identify and apply continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct automated and performance testing for assigned projects.
• Interact with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements.
• Work with QA/Testing staff, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts to plan and execute automated and performance tests.
• Research available tools and participate in initiatives to implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality.
• Research and identify root causes of performance issues in partnership with architects, developers, and network and system engineers.
• Conduct project reviews, ensuring review criteria are defined, and implement procedures for ensuring quality control of project deliverables.
