Placements24 is seeking an innovative Electrical Engineer specializing in Automation and Control Systems to join our Randburg team. This hybrid role balances on-site project work with remote system design and analysis, focusing on design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced control systems for industrial processes.

The ideal candidate will have PLC programming, SCADA, and HMI experience, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability across diverse industries in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
• Proficiency in programming various PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Experience with SCADA software and HMI design.
• Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing both remote development and on-site support.

Responsabilités

• Design, program, and commission PLC and HMI systems for industrial automation.
• Develop and maintain SCADA systems for process monitoring and data acquisition.
• Specify electrical components and control hardware for automation projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical and control systems, both remotely and on-site.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into existing infrastructure.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in industrial automation and control.
