Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation and control systems engineering.
• Proficiency in programming PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron) and HMI software.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
• Experience with industrial robotics, VFDs, and servo systems is a strong advantage.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for commissioning and support.
• Experience in remote monitoring and diagnostics tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission PLC and HMI systems for automated machinery and processes.
• Develop and implement control system architectures, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation control systems, both remotely and on-site.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate control systems with equipment.
• Specify and select appropriate automation hardware components, including sensors, drives, and actuators.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including control logic, wiring diagrams, and operating manuals.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards for automated systems.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams on automation systems.
• Stay abreast of new automation technologies and best practices.
• Perform remote diagnostics and system configuration as required.
