Job summary

Barloworld Equipment is seeking an Auto-Electrician to carry out repairs and maintenance on earthmoving equipment at workshops or on customer sites. You will remove and install auto electrical components and respond quickly to breakdowns while upholding a professional image.

The role requires 5+ years of post-qualification experience with Caterpillar electrical systems, strong fault-finding skills, safety awareness, and valid driving credentials.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and auto-electrician trade qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience on electric/electronic systems on Caterpillar machines.
• Sound knowledge of safety rules and mining operations.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in electrical/electronic systems.
• ISO quality systems knowledge.
• Valid Driver’s licence.

• Applicable attachments product operation knowledge
