Job summary

Urang Group in Stellenbosch, Western Cape (Remote SA) seeks an Associate Property Manager to join our growing team. The role involves managing residential blocks, addressing client and tenant queries, coordinating contractor work and maintaining comprehensive property records.

Occasional visits to Stellenbosch office may be required. You will support service charge processes, work with internal departments, and play a key part in onboarding onsite staff.

• Willingness to obtain TPI affiliate qualifications within 18 months.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.

Job Title: Associate Property Manager

Location:

Stellenbosch, Western Cape / Remote (SA)
Working with a UK-based team, with occasional visits to the Stellenbosch office as required.

JOB PURPOSE

As our Property Management team expands to meet the growing demands of our clients, we are seeking a dedicated Associate Property Manager to join us in delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Manage a portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring buildings are efficiently managed and maintained.
• Handle day-to-day client, leaseholder and tenant queries professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors to ensure work is completed to the required standard.
• Provide regular updates to clients and attend resident and client meetings.
• Assist with service charge, ground rent and Section 20 queries and processes.
• Process invoices and assist with building insurance claims.
• Maintain accurate property records, documentation and contact details across internal systems.
• Support new block set-ups and general portfolio administration.
• Assist the Senior Property Manager with portfolio management and provide cover during team absences.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Support the recruitment, onboarding and HR administration of onsite staff.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in residential property or block management.
• TPI affiliate qualifications or willingness to obtain within 18 months.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other ICT packages.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain organization.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

Working Hours: 09:00 to 18:00 Monday – Friday

Salary: R23 000- R25 000 pm (Depending on experience and qualifications)
