Mr Price Group Limited seeks a Store Supervisor to support the store manager in daily operations, ensuring targets and customer service standards are met and exceeded.

You will lead stock control, drive sales performance, manage risk, and develop the team, with 2–3 years supervisory experience, budgeting skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

This role focuses on customer experience and brand understanding within a dynamic retail environment.

• Stock management: ensure stock is received, unpacked and replenished on the shop floor.
• Sales growth: analyse store performance and implement action plans to increase sales and manage store expenditure.
• Risk management: conduct compliance checks and protect against losses.
• Customer experience: implement customer service processes to meet standards.
• Leadership: lead and develop the store team to meet KPIs and strategy.
• Training and development: identify coaching needs and support succession planning.

Description du poste

Support the store manager in managing the daily operations of a store to ensure that the overall objectives, store targets and customer service standards are met and exceeded.

Stock Management

• Ensure that stock is accurately received & unpacked to merchandise and replenish the sales floor.
• Monitor and manage stock levels through defined processes to mitigate risks (stock loss) and ensure adequate stock on hand.
• Oversee the overall maintenance of the stockroom to meet housekeeping standards.
• Authorise write offs, breakages, recalls and returns.

Sales Growth & Profitability

• Analyse sales & profitability reports in store to collaborate with management on required operational action plans, increase sales performance and monitor store expenditure.
• Review and keep abreast of in-store product performance to provide feedback to support centre and enhance sales.
• Identify and propose new opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness.

Risk Management

• Conduct compliance checks through defined processes to ensure and enforce overall compliance to policies and procedures.

Customer Experience Management

• Ensure and maintain the implementation of customer experience processes to meet customer service standards.

Leadership & Development

• Lead and drive the team within a store to achieve store KPIs and operational strategy in line with company values.
• Identify & drive training, coaching and development needs with a focus on talent management and succession planning.
• Recruit, administer & manage performance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Grade: 12.
• 2 to 3 Years' Experience in a Supervisory/Assistant Store Management capacity.
• Understanding of Sales & Service Management.

• Proficiency in MS Office.
