Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Dawn Park store. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales budgets, managing staff, safety, stock, and customer service. A strong accounting background and leadership skills are essential.

You will ensure daily operations align with Company strategy, drive merchandising standards, and maintain a proactive, customer-focused store environment in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with at least 2 years retail management experience.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Valid ID or valid work permit (local).
• Strong accounting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager to develop, implement and manage a Store Business Plan aligned with Company strategy.
• Assist the Store Manager to grow and protect market share and achieve sales budgets by category.
• Assist the Store Manager to implement and monitor the Customer Service strategy and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Assist the Store Manager to manage stock, shrinkage, PIC processes and stock takes.
• Assist the Store Manager to manage cash, debtors, petty cash and daily banking.
• Assist the Store Manager to recruit, train and develop staff and foster healthy employee relations.
• Assist the Store Manager to ensure OHSA safety compliance and implement safety measures.
• Assist the Store Manager to maintain merchandising standards, planograms, housekeeping and store infrastructure.
