Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a hands-on operations leader for a South Africa-based site. You will supervise daily operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and lead staff to improve service efficiency and productivity.

You will manage inventory for fuel and convenience store products, monitor sales and budgets, and perform cash reconciliation to maximize profitability. Focus on customer experience and on-site security and maintenance.

Minimum requirements:

• Matric and post matric qualification would be beneficial
• Operations & Safety: Supervised daily operations, ensuring strict compliance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train staff members, enhancing service efficiency and productivity
• Inventory & Fuel Management: Managed inventory levels for fuel and convenience store products, reducing discrepancies and optimizing stock
• Financial Performance: Monitored sales, managed budgets, and perform cash reconciliation to maximize profitability and reduce losses
• Customer Experience: Resolve customer complaints promptly, improving satisfaction and driving repeat business
  Security: Open and close shop, Complete daily managers check sheet, General security awareness and accountability as senior on site
• General: Ensure correct freezer temperatures, General Maintenance management of the site, General day to day duties and ad hoc projects
• Reporting & Finance: Record and report key performance indicators on a weekly and monthly basis, actively participate as a member of the team, performing any other task, not specified herein, which from time to time may be assigned by the Dealer
