Placements24 seeks an Assistant Retail Manager for a Store in Tembisa. The role supports the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, drives sales, and upholds outstanding customer service standards.

You will supervise staff, manage stock, train sales associates, and help create an engaging shopping environment while pursuing career progression toward Store Manager roles within a recognised brand serving a diverse community.

Formación

• Experience in a retail supervisory or assistant management role.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive team performance.
• Solid knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and customer service best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proficient with POS systems and standard office software.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including staff supervision, sales target achievement, and customer engagement.
• Support the implementation of sales strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue growth.
• Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service, resolving customer issues promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
• Train and coach new and existing sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and store policies.
• Ensure the store environment is well-maintained, visually appealing, and adheres to all company standards.
