Placements24 is seeking an Assistant Retail Sales Lead for a busy store in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will support the Store Manager in driving sales, ensuring excellent customer engagement, and maintaining store operations.

A proactive approach to sales and a knack for merchandising will help you inspire the sales team and deliver a positive shopping experience. You will lead by example, coach staff, handle cash and transactions, and contribute to meeting sales targets while upholding the brand’s

Formación

• Experience in retail sales or customer service, with supervisory exposure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to shifts.
• Familiarity with merchandising and store operations.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving store sales targets and profitability goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with shoppers.
• Supervise and coach sales associates per company standards.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, including cash handling.
• Implement visual merchandising standards to enhance product presentation.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
