Job summary

Hungry Lion is a growing fast-food brand operating in Africa and seeks an experienced Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) Assistant Manager to join our George team. The role supports the Branch Manager in delivering profitable operations, achieving sales targets, and maintaining quality standards in a busy restaurant environment.

You will oversee staffing, training, and supervision, ensure excellent customer service, and implement company policies to drive efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with 2 years experience in a similar management role.
• Tertiary qualification desirable.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity in a Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR).

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in running a profitable quick-service restaurant.
• Aim to achieve and/or exceed sales targets.
• Ensure adequate staffing with competent staff.
• Serve high-quality products and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Drive operational efficiencies in line with company policies through effective team management.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an opportunity for an experienced Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) Assistant Manager to join our team.

The purpose of this role is to assume secondary accountability and responsibility, fully supporting the Branch Manager, in running a profitable quick-service restaurant. This includes achieving and/or exceeding sales targets, ensuring adequate staffing with competent staff, serving high-quality products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving operational efficiencies in accordance with company policies and procedures through effective team management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 with 2years experience in a similar management role
• A tertiary qualification is desirable
