Job summary

MORE Collection is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance team across the lodge and gardens, ensuring the property remains guest-ready, clean and well-maintained.

In this role you will supervise maintenance tasks in the absence of the Maintenance Manager, manage schedules and inventories, and uphold safety, sustainability and guest care standards while delivering the MORE experience.

Qualifications

• Sound overall maintenance knowledge across carpentry, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience working in Hotels / Lodges.
• Sound knowledge of planning, budgeting and administration.
• Knowledge of stock procedures and hygiene protocols.
• Ability to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professional attire.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Maintenance Manager, assume full responsibility for maintenance and gardens operations and the property’s interior/exterior.
• Manage maintenance schedules, short-term projects and contracts.
• Maintain spares inventories and assist procurement.
• Ensure guest information is collected and communicated prior to arrival.
• Uphold Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety practices and sustainability standards.
