Job summary

MORE Collection is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance Manager in running the lodge's full maintenance and gardens operations. You will oversee building fabric, pools, landscaping and equipment, ensuring high standards of safety and guest experience.

You will coordinate maintenance schedules, manage inventories and assist with procurement, while leading a team to deliver reliable, efficient service in a luxury lodge setting.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge across maintenance disciplines including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Experience in hotel or lodge maintenance operations.
• Understanding of stock control, budgeting and procurement.
• Familiarity with health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage all maintenance and gardens operations in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.
• Oversee landscaping, pool maintenance and facilities to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, manage contracts and inventories.
• Assist in procurement negotiations for goods and equipment.
• Ensure safety compliance and staff training across the department.
