Job summary

Talent Finder is seeking an experienced Engineering recruitment leader in the Western Cape. You will work with consultants to support desk performance, coach on sourcing, business development, client management and placements, and mentor the team to achieve KPIs.

As 2IC to the Branch Manager, you will help manage the Engineering team and drive a high-performance culture, while sharing market knowledge and developing training programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Engineering/Technical Recruitment.
• Strong 360 recruitment experience.
• Understanding of the Engineering recruitment market.
• Proven track record of achieving targets.
• Experience mentoring, coaching or team leadership.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work closely with consultants to support and improve their desk performance
• Provide guidance and coaching on candidate sourcing, business development, client management & placements
• Mentor consultants and help them develop their recruitment and sales skills
• Assist consultants with strategy, troubleshooting and challenging situations on their desks
• Share your Engineering market knowledge and recruitment expertise with the team
• Identify training and development needs and provide ongoing support
• Assist with onboarding and training new consultants
• Help drive team productivity and ensure consultants are working towards their KPIs
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive, high-performance team culture
• Act as the 2IC to the Branch Manager, providing support where required
• Assist with the day-to-day management and running of the Engineering team

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in Engineering/Technical Recruitment
• Strong 360 recruitment experience
• A solid understanding of the Engineering recruitment market
• A proven track record of achieving targets and delivering results
• Previous experience in mentoring, coaching, training or team leadership
• Someone who enjoys helping others succeed and sharing their knowledge
• Strong commercial and business development skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A natural problem-solver who can provide practical guidance and support
• Someone who is mature, driven, accountable and leads by example

Qualification:

• Grade 12
• Degree – Highly Advantageous
