Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric and culinary qualification.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards and HACCP guidelines.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Monitor food quality while preparing food and ensure correct temperatures of appliances and foods.
• Set up and break down the workstation and maintain mise en place.
• Maintain sanitation of kitchen, tools, and equipment; follow safety policies.
