Placements24 is seeking an Area Sales Manager to oversee Benoni and Gauteng sales activities for a leading FMCG snack brand. You will manage a sales team, drive distribution expansion, and partner with retailers and distributors to achieve volume targets.

Strong leadership and market knowledge are essential. The role requires a Bachelor's in Marketing or related field, 5+ years FMCG sales experience, and a proven track record in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years FMCG sales experience, with 2 years in leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead a sales team to targets and manage distribution.
• Strong knowledge of Gauteng retail operations and routes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of sales representatives in Benoni and Gauteng regions.
• Develop and execute sales plans to meet volume and revenue targets.
• Monitor performance, provide training and motivation to the team.
• Maintain relationships with key retailers and distributors.
