Qualifications

• Secondary education; a business-related qualification is advantageous.
• Proven experience managing multiple retail locations or leading multi-site operations.
• Strong working knowledge of retail operations, financial management, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency in standard business systems and Microsoft Office tools.

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and profitability of multiple retail locations. This role drives commercial outcomes, ensures operational excellence, and leads store teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment. Area Managers can be based across South Africa and Namabia.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple store locations
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor performance and compliance
• Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising and brand standards

Commercial Performance:

• Drive sales growth, profitability, and Key Performance Indicators
• Analyse financial data and implement corrective actions

People Management:

• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and staff
• Support recruitment and performance management

Customer and Stakeholder Management:

• Promote a customer-centric culture
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships

Compliance and Risk:

• Ensure adherence to policies and legal requirements
• Maintain health and safety standards
