Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Draftsperson in Centurion to produce detailed drawings and documentation under architect supervision. You will translate design intent into precise construction-ready plans and models, collaborating with architects and technologists across diverse Gauteng projects.

The ideal candidate has a qualification in architectural drafting and proficiency with AutoCAD, with BIM experience preferred. Flexible remote options and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Architectural Drafting, Draughting, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Draftsperson or CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit or BIM software experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and conventions.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD software.
• Create 3D models and renderings for design visualization and client presentations.
• Prepare and revise drawings based on architect's mark-ups and design changes.
• Assist in the preparation of tender and construction documentation packages.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure all documentation is current and organized.
• Coordinate with consultants to incorporate their design elements into drawings.
