Placements24 is seeking an Apprentice Chef for a well-regarded Kimberley restaurant in the Northern Cape, ZA. You will learn essential culinary techniques, food preparation, hygiene standards, and menu execution under seasoned chefs in a busy kitchen.

Formación

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Passion for cooking and culinary arts.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Must reside in or be willing to commute to Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene principles is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for various menu items.
• Learn and execute basic cooking techniques under supervision.
• Maintain strict standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Help manage inventory and stock rotation.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with plating and presentation of dishes.

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs with various kitchen duties.
