Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Research Scientist in Centurion to develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods for product development and quality control. You will work with HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectrometry in a modern lab and contribute to data integrity.

The role requires an MSc or PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field, 3–5 years of method development experience, and thorough knowledge of GMP/GLP guidelines. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in analytical method development and validation.
• Hands-on expertise with HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods using techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, and spectroscopy.
• Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, ensuring calibration and performance.
