Job summary

ikeja is seeking an energetic Amharic-speaking Field Sales Representative based in Tembisa, Gauteng, to grow our presence among local small businesses. You will engage with spaza shops, salons, taverns and car washes, converting leads into activated customers while building lasting community relationships.

The role requires daily target focus, valid SA driver's license, 1+ year in direct sales, and willingness to travel across Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Minimum 1 year in direct/field sales or related target-driven role.
• Fluency in Amharic and English for customer engagement.
• Valid South African driver's license and own reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field canvassing in assigned Gauteng areas targeting small businesses and residential customers.
• Generate new customer leads and sign-ups through direct, face-to-face interactions.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets across products and areas.
• Explain offerings, pricing, onboarding and installation clearly to customers.
• Document all customer information accurately in systems and follow up on leads.
