Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor in Paarl to lead a skilled maintenance team and ensure top-tier safety and compliance. The role oversees scheduling, resource allocation, and mentoring of technicians, while driving efficiency in maintenance operations.

The ideal candidate has an AME license with at least 5 years in maintenance and 2 years in a supervisory capacity, plus strong knowledge of aviation regulations and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold AME license or equivalent qualification.
• Min 5 years in aircraft maintenance; at least 2 in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation regulations.
• Proven leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of maintenance technicians and engineers.
• Plan, schedule, and manage daily maintenance activities for efficient resource allocation.
• Ensure all maintenance complies with aviation regulations, policies, and safety management systems.
• Oversee inspection, repair, and servicing of aircraft to maintain airworthiness.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, parts inventory, and personnel activities.
• Promote a strong safety culture and address hazards in compliance with procedures.
