About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Tembisa. You will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of aircraft to ensure airworthiness and operational safety. This role requires a hands-on approach, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to upholding the highest industry standards. You will work collaboratively within a hangar environment, contributing to the seamless operation of a fleet critical to regional transport and logistics. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and functional checks on aircraft systems and components.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to perform complex repairs and modifications.
• Document all maintenance activities, parts used, and time spent accurately in the maintenance logbook.
• Collaborate with flight crews and operations teams to address any reported aircraft issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and airworthiness directives.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance.
