Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, with heavy or line maintenance focus.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing complex aircraft systems (avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, engines).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft systems per manufacturer specs and regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings to accurately diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance records, logging all work performed, parts used, and time spent in the aircraft maintenance logbook.
• Collaborate with flight operations and engineering departments to ensure timely aircraft availability and address any technical concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician , with a focus on heavy maintenance or line maintenance.
• Hold a valid aviation maintenance license or certification recognized by the relevant aviation authority (e.g., SA-CAA Part 66).
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex aircraft systems, including avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and engines.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety standards, and maintenance procedures.
