Placements24 seeks an experienced Aircraft Line Maintenance Engineer to ensure safe, efficient turnaround of aircraft at our Nelspruit facility. You will perform line maintenance tasks, troubleshoot defects, and conduct scheduled checks to keep aircraft airworthy between flights.

This hands-on role requires strong knowledge of aircraft systems, the ability to interpret manuals, and teamwork with flight crews and ground staff.

Qualifications

• Certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with relevant type ratings.
• Proven experience in line maintenance operations.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform line maintenance duties on various aircraft types, including troubleshooting, inspections, and component replacements.
• Execute scheduled maintenance checks (e.g., A-checks) and unscheduled defect rectifications.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, technical data, and work cards to perform tasks correctly.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are recorded in the aircraft logbook and maintenance system.
• Collaborate with flight crews, dispatchers, and other maintenance personnel.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies regarding aircraft maintenance.

About the Role
