Job summary

Ikwezi Mining is seeking an Aircon Technician to maintain and repair air-conditioning systems on mining machinery. You will work on-site and in the workshop, with responsibilities spanning diagnosis, service reports, and field support during dispatches.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 Certificate is required.
• English literacy is essential.
• Post matric qualification / N3 is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician on industrial/mining equipment.
• Relevant tertiary training or certificates would be advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Proven field service experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

As a Aircon Technician, your key responsibility will be the overall maintenance and repairs of various air-conditioning systems on multiple systems used in mining machinery. The successful candidate should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic tools, service, and diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
