Job summary

ATNS SOC Limited in Durban seeks a Manager Air Traffic Services to lead the Air Traffic Service Unit, ensure safe, orderly and efficient ATS operations, and implement the regional strategy in line with ICAO standards and company policy.

The role requires significant leadership, budget oversight, and the ability to drive continuous improvements in ATS outputs while maintaining strong stakeholder relations with customers and regulators.

Qualifications

• Air traffic control qualification (Aerodrome, Approach and Area control).
• Leadership training or a business management qualification.
• Postgraduate qualification in Business Management, Aviation Management, Operations or related field is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to the Air Traffic Service Unit to ensure service delivery.
• Lead the development and management of the Air Traffic Service Unit's strategy and governance.
• Ensure compliance with SA Civil Aviation Regulations and ICAO Standards.
• Develop and monitor the unit's annual business plan and budget.

Education
