Job summary

SME Careers is seeking a Customer Service SME contractor to help build a natural, human-enacted data set for training speech-to-speech AI agents. The role is remote, hourly, and project-based, with opportunities to join future projects via our expert network.

You will apply your experience in client communication, issue resolution, support workflows, and customer relationship management to ensure conversations reflect real-world interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in professional Customer Service with demonstrated client communication and CRM experience.
• 1+ year in AI training such as data annotation or model evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end customer support workflows.
• Excellent spoken English C1+ (US only).

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content across realistic support scenarios.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance model accuracy and relevance.
• Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases to ensure reliability across use cases.
