Job summary

PBT Group is seeking an experienced AI Automation Engineer for a 12-month consulting engagement based in Midrand, South Africa. You will design, develop, deploy and support intelligent automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, compliance and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 5+ years' relevant experience in software/automation engineering or digital process automation.
• Hands-on delivery of intelligent automation/RPA within an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop intelligent automation solutions aligned with business requirements and security controls.
• Build, configure, test and deploy RPA bots, workflows, APIs, scripts and reusable components.
• Translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions and estimate efforts.
• Develop solutions using UiPath, Power Automate, Python, SQL and REST APIs.
• Integrate applications and systems via APIs and other integration mechanisms.
• Incorporate AI/GenAI capabilities into automation where appropriate.
• Provide Level 2/3 production support and deployment into production.
