Guardian Recruiting is seeking a Commercial Manager for Stellenbosch, WC. The role focuses on licensing in agriculture, managing partnerships with nurseries, producers and marketers, and supporting growth across the region.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in agriculture or business and at least 5 years in international produce/FMCG. Strong English and Afrikaans communication, relationship skills and a proactive, organized approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the international produce industry or FMCG.
• Bachelor's degree in agriculture or business is required.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Administer licensing agreements with producers, nurseries, distributors and marketers.
• Develop new business and expand profitable relationships with producers and distributors.
• Coordinate plant material orders and support importation and quarantine.
• Prepare reports and support financial operations; track revenue and expenses.
• Support the Licensing Manager to improve efficiencies and reduce risks.
