About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Agricultural Operations Manager to oversee a large-scale farming operation in Upington . You will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all farming activities, from cultivation to harvest, while maintaining high standards of productivity and sustainability within the agriculture and forestry sector . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual operating plans, including crop selection, planting schedules, and resource allocation.
• Manage and supervise farm staff, providing direction, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the procurement and efficient utilization of agricultural inputs, such as seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides.
• Implement and monitor irrigation systems and water management strategies effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and labor regulations in Upington .

Requirements
