Job summary

Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a dynamic Farm Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day activities at its Welkom-area farming facilities. You will lead staff, plan planting to harvest, and ensure safety and environmental compliance while optimizing resources.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Farm Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at their expansive agricultural facilities near Welkom . This role requires a blend of practical farming knowledge, strong leadership skills, and effective management of resources, staff, and equipment to ensure efficient and profitable crop production. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all farming activities, from planting to harvest, while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of farm workers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
