Placements24 is seeking an Agri-Business Development Manager to identify and cultivate new opportunities in the Benoni region and surrounding Gauteng areas. You will lead market analysis, strategic planning, and development initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of the agricultural value chain, and excellent negotiation and presentation skills. Relevant degree and SA market familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field.
• MBA is a plus for strategic leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within agriculture.
• In-depth understanding of the South African agricultural market and value chains.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategic BD plans to achieve growth targets.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and client acquisitions in agri-business.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and expansion areas.
• Build and maintain relationships with farmers, cooperatives, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Negotiate and close deals with favorable terms; prepare proposals and reports.
