Job summary

Byte Orbit is seeking an Agile Delivery Lead to own end-to-end software delivery across multiple projects, balancing stakeholder expectations with delivery outcomes.

You will coach teams, define processes, run sprints and ensure alignment between product, design, and engineering. Experience in agency/consultancy environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven end-to-end software project delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
• 3–5+ years as Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master or similar.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello).
• Understanding of SDLC and modern web/mobile technologies.

Job description

The Agile Delivery Lead is responsible for the successful delivery of software projects, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders across the project. This role combines the traditional responsibilities of a Scrum Master with a broader focus on project delivery, team alignment and business outcomes. As an Agile Delivery Lead, you are an expert in the end-to-end delivery of software and should exhibit ownership of delivery and project issues across multiple projects.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSET:

Proven track record of end-to-end software project delivery in an agency, consultancy, or fast-paced technology environment across multiple concurrent projects.

3–5+ years of experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager or similar leading cross-functional software development teams.

Strong hands-on proficiency with Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello).

Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), modern web/mobile technologies, and software engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, release management).

Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, managing external stakeholder expectations, scope, and project reporting.

Guide development teams to higher agile maturity, implementing changes to improve productivity

Onboard new teams and team members

Coach team members across the business in agile practices

Stay up to date with and be able to implement all agile methodologies and practices for effective problem solving

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and learning.

Manage project scope and progress

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring

Empower team members to make decisions and take ownership of their work

Drive backlog refinement and readiness

Provide a clear understanding of the product’s vision and delivery objectives

Ensure alignment between the project team and the client on scope estimation and expectations

Run sprint planning sessions and ensure correct allocation of resources

Work with the development teams on estimating effort

Assist with managing user stories, acceptance criteria and test cases where necessary

Ensure prioritisation of stories and deliverables are aligned with client expectations and value delivery

Coordinate sprints, retrospective meeting, daily stand-ups and other events

Identify and implement process improvements to eliminate waste and streamline workflows

Ensure that projects are following unified, correct processes, and that steps within the process are not lost during implementation of the project

Resolve conflicts and queries

Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration

Proactively resolve blockers/impediments and where you are unable to do so, ensure that they are promptly communicated to those who can

Reporting

Monitor project progress and provide relevant feedback and reporting to the product management team

Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint

Provide feedback to all stakeholders regarding project progress

Provide relevant sprint reports, cadence, velocity etc to relevant stakeholders

Stakeholder Management

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including product owners, technical leads and business stakeholders

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including clients

Manage expectations and resolve conflicts
