Job summary

Be Different seeks an experienced Agile Coach/Scrum Master to lead multiple teams in delivering software-focused value. You will coach teams on Agile principles, facilitate ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement with data-informed decisions.

You will collaborate with Dev Managers and Tech Leads to ensure alignment, governance, and predictable delivery while fostering a culture of experimentation and learning across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Agile Coaching, Delivery Transformation or related roles
• Hands-on Scrum Master experience supporting software teams
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban frameworks
• Proven facilitation and coaching skills with conflict navigation
• Comfort with delivery metrics and analytics to drive decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication for engineers, executives
• Ability to influence without authority and work cross-functionally
• Background in software development, QA or technical discipline
• Value stream mapping proficiency
• Servant leadership mindset
• Background with Agile certifications (required)

Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams and promote Scrum/Kanban adoption
• Own team delivery governance and ensure clear goals and transparency
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Planning, Daily, Review, Retrospective)
• Coach teams on Agile principles and self-organization
• Use data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
• Lead outcome-focused retrospectives and action follow-through
• Coordinate cross-team work, managing dependencies and risks
• Partner with Dev Manager and Tech Leads with plans and signals
• Support pilots and new ways of working
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and learning
• Address systemic constraints and enable product/value delivery
• Promote experimentation and evidence-based improvement
• Coach and facilitate workshops and alignment sessions
• Act as change agent and enabler for organizational agility

Job description

In order to be considered the following is required:

• 3 – 5+ years’ experience in Agile Coaching, Delivery Transformation, Tech and Product
• Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead supporting software teams
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and modern engineering practices
• Proven facilitation and coaching skills, able to navigate conflict and drive clear outcomes
• Comfort with delivery metrics and basic analytics, ability to translate data into decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt messaging for engineers, BSOs and executives
• Ability to influence without authority and build strong cross‑functional partnerships
• Familiarity with Agile tooling (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps)
• Background in software development, QA or a related technical discipline

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring effective adoption of Scrum and Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban as appropriate)
• Own team-level delivery governance and predictability, ensuring clear goals, realistic planning and transparent signals on scope, risks and progress
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Reviews, Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement
• Coach teams on Agile principles, self‑organization and continuous improvement
• Use quantitative and qualitative insights to identify bottlenecks, risks and improvement opportunities
• Facilitate outcome‑focused retrospectives and ensure follow‑through on improvement actions
• Own cross‑team coordination for work involving supported teams, ensuring dependencies, sequencing and risks are understood and managed collaboratively
• Partner with Dev Manager and Technical Leads by providing accurate team and cluster‑level plans, capacity and risk signals
• Support pilots and targeted interventions to embed new ways of working
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and organisational learning
• Diagnose and address systemic constraints (e.g. dependencies, WIP overload, slow decision cycles)
• Enable the shift from project‑based to product and value‑oriented delivery
• Outcome‑based decision‑making
• Enable behavioural and mindset shifts required for organisational agility
• Promote a culture of experimentation, learning and evidence‑based improvement

This role will act as a change agent and system enabler, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, evidence-based decision-making, and sustainable organizational capability uplift.
