Job summary

Euromonitor International in Cape Town is shaping the next generation of marketing technology. We seek a Marketing Engineer to design and build agentic systems that power our AI-driven growth engine, gathering requirements from marketing teams and translating them into automated solutions on Marketo and Salesforce.

You will own the agents in production, ensuring reliability, proper documentation, and secure integrations, while collaborating with colleagues across the UK, US, and other regions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years building automated systems or AI agents.
• Fluent English is a must.
• Solid understanding of Marketo and Salesforce.
• Solid understanding of APIs and MCP based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from marketing colleagues, document workflows, and design automated, agentic solutions.
• Design, build and maintain AI agents and automations that perform marketing work end to end.
• Own agents in production: versioning, monitoring and continuous improvement with guardrails.
• Connect agents to data lakes and the marketing stack (Marketo, Salesforce) using APIs and MCP integrations.
• Collaborate with regional teams, document what you build, and comply with data protection and AI usage standards.
