Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Aerospace Quality Inspector in Rustenburg to ensure aircraft components and assemblies meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will conduct thorough inspections, document findings and collaborate with production to implement corrective actions.

The role requires experience in aerospace manufacturing, blueprints interpretation, and familiarity with CMMs/NDT methods. AS9100/ISO9001 knowledge and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Experience with inspection tools and techniques, including CMMs and NDT methods.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications in QA or inspection are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of aircraft parts and assemblies.
• Verify compliance with drawings, specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and document non-conformities, initiating CAPA.
• Review and approve quality control documentation, including inspection reports and test results.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure QMS adherence (AS9100).
• Conduct process audits to ensure manufacturing operations follow approved procedures.
