Job summary

Placements24 seeks a meticulous Quality Assurance Inspector for a production facility in Klerksdorp. You will inspect raw materials, in‑process components, and finished aviation products to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and AS9100.

You will document findings, report non‑conformities, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions, maintaining traceability and high product integrity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in aerospace or aviation manufacturing.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with inspection tools, including CMMs; NDT knowledge a plus.
• Solid understanding of QMS and aerospace regulatory requirements (AS9100).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Able to work effectively in a manufacturing team in Klerksdorp.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections of raw materials, in‑process components, and finished aviation products.
• Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify conformance to specifications.
• Document inspection results, identify non-conformities, and report findings to the Quality Manager.
• Verify manufacturing processes adhere to QC procedures and aerospace standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records and ensure traceability of materials and processes.
