Job summary

Network Recruitment is assisting a leading defence and aerospace organisation by hiring a Business Development Manager. The role connects engineering, sales, suppliers, OEMs and technology partners to enable multi-stakeholder business development and product integration.

The ideal candidate is a graduate or early-career professional with strong written communication and an interest in defence technology and commercial development. Occasional international travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 required.
• Relevant Bachelor's Degree required; average of 85% in Matric; a strong academic track record advantageous.
• 3 years' relevant experience in business development, engineering, technology, sales, project coordination or related technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Supplier, OEM & Technology Partner engagement; serve as technical liaison and support lifecycle discussions.
• Product Integration & Project Coordination; act as central coordinator between Engineering and Sales.
• Sales Support & Technical Enablement; provide up-to-date technical knowledge and develop customer-facing material.
• Research & Technology Development; monitor defence tech trends and opportunities for integration.
• Business Development; identify new opportunities, assist with tenders and build cross-functional relationships.
