Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a technically minded and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join its Centurion team. You will bridge Engineering, Sales, suppliers, OEMs and partners to drive multi-stakeholder business development and product integration.

The role translates complex technical capabilities into customer value, supports supplier engagement, coordinates projects, and enables sales with technical material. Occasional international travel is required.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• Relevant Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Average of 85% in Matric.
• A strong or prestigious academic track record will be advantageous.
• 0–3 years' relevant experience in business development, engineering, technology, sales, project coordination or a related technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical liaison between the organisation and suppliers, OEMs and technology partners.
• Support technical and commercial discussions throughout procurement and integration lifecycle.
• Coordinate information between internal stakeholders and external technology partners.
• Assist with evaluating supplier capabilities, products and technical compatibility.
• Support development and maintenance of strategic supplier and technology relationships.
• Act as central coordination point between Engineering and Sales during product integration phases.
• Assist with managing integration activities, timelines, deliverables and technical requirements.
• Track project progress and ensure stakeholders receive timely information.
• Support identification and resolution of technical or integration challenges.
• Ensure products and technologies align with customer and programme requirements.
• Provide Sales with current technical and product knowledge and translate capabilities into commercial value.
• Prepare technical presentations, proposals and customer-facing material.
• Support competitive positioning and market analysis.
• Develop internal technical enablement material to strengthen customer engagement capabilities.
• Monitor defence technology, aerospace and systems integration developments.
• Research new products, technologies, suppliers and strategic partners.
• Identify opportunities for product enhancement and technology integration.
• Support Sales and Engineering with market and technology intelligence.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and prospective customers.
