Responsibilities

• Receive patients into admissions with a positive, friendly, professional approach.
• Manage and coordinate medical aid confirmations and pre-authorisations with medical aids on behalf of admissions and clinical teams.
• Liaise with doctors rooms, case management, and internal departments to obtain and validate authorisation numbers timeously.
• Manage authorisations for the team with medical aids, including follow-ups on outstanding approvals to prevent admission and billing delays.
• Inform patients of all relevant processes and timelines.
