About the Role

Our client is looking for an energetic and creative Activity Coordinator to join their renowned coastal resort team in Mossel Bay . This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide variety of engaging activities and events for guests of all ages, enhancing their overall holiday experience. You will work closely with various resort departments to ensure seamless delivery of programs that cater to diverse interests, from recreational sports and kids' clubs to evening entertainment. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a diverse calendar of daily and weekly guest activities and entertainment programs.
• Coordinate and oversee the execution of all planned activities, ensuring high standards of engagement and safety.
• Manage activity resources, including equipment, venues, and staffing, ensuring availability and proper upkeep.
• Engage with guests, provide information about activities, and foster a welcoming and fun atmosphere.
• Collaborate with marketing and other departments to promote resort activities and special events.
• Gather guest feedback on activities and use it to continuously improve program offerings.

Requirements

• Previous experience (2+ years) in event planning , hospitality, or a similar guest-facing role, preferably within the tourism or resort industry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging guest experiences.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
