Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Resort Activities Coordinator for a picturesque Richards Bay resort. You will design and implement diverse recreational programs for guests of all ages and manage daily activity logistics to ensure a memorable guest experience.

Ideal candidates are energetic, creative, and skilled in event planning, with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities. The role requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in a beautiful KwaZulu-Natal coastal setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event planning, recreation coordination, or a similar role within hospitality or tourism.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Creative thinking and a passion for creating enjoyable guest experiences.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute a variety of daily and weekly resort activities, including sports, games, entertainment, and cultural events.
• Coordinate with various resort departments to ensure smooth delivery of all activities.
• Manage activity supplies, equipment, and venue setups, ensuring safety and availability.
• Engage with guests, promote upcoming activities, and provide information about resort offerings.
• Gather guest feedback to continuously improve the activity programs and overall guest experience.
