Job summary

Shoprite Group of Companies seeks a Financial Co-ordinator to support the Financial Manager with supplier transactions, expense administration and financial schedules at the Centurion Distribution Centre.

The role requires strong Excel and SAP familiarity, three years in a finance/administration environment, and a keen eye for detail and deadlines. You will interact with suppliers and contribute to timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Essential).
• At least three years’ experience in an administration or finance environment; experience in financial administration, invoice processing, accounts payable, or supplier account administration would be advantageous.
• A relevant finance qualification would be advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• SAP knowledge or experience would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to respond professionally to supplier queries.
• Ability to work independently, organize workloads and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create orders and capture invoices relating to sundry and facilities expense creditors.
• Maintain supplier accounts and the relevant supplier dashboard and assist suppliers with queries.
• Track shared costs and prepare schedules for weekly journal processing.
• Complete Expense Invoice Return (EIR) documentation and submit it to the line manager for sign-off.
• Process applications for new vendor accounts in line with the applicable procedures.
• Provide general financial and administrative support and complete other reasonable ad hoc duties requested by management.
