Job summary

Mr Price Group seeks a highly organised Creditors Supervisor to lead the Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate supplier accounts, timely creditor payments and robust month-end close across regions.

The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 5 years in creditors/payables and 2 years in supervision, with strong reconciliation and process-improvement skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a Creditors/Accounts Payable environment.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of creditor reconciliations and month-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Creditors department and ensure timely, accurate payments.
• Approve creditor payments and manage supplier master data and reconciliations.
• Oversee monthly creditor penalties, adjustments and intercompany payments.
• Drive compliance, documentation, audits and process improvements within Accounts Payable.
• Support BEE administration and maintain supplier certificates.
• Provide coaching and development for the Creditors team.
