Placements24 in Bloemfontein is seeking a diligent Accounts Clerk to support day-to-day financial transactions within a busy administrative team.

You will manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and assist with month-end tasks while maintaining accurate records. Report to the Finance Department and collaborate with a supportive team in a reputable agricultural services firm.

Qualifications

• A Matriculation certificate with accounting as a subject.
• 1–3 years experience in AP/AR roles.
• Proficiency in Pastel Partner, Xero and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and on time.
• Generate and send accounts receivable invoices to clients.
• Follow up on overdue payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile ledgers.
• Maintain organized financial records (digital and physical).
• Assist with month-end close and basic journal entries.
• Process employee expense reports and claims.
• Respond to financial inquiries from internal/external stakeholders.
• Support finance team with ad-hoc tasks and policies compliance.
• Contribute to accuracy and efficiency of daily financial operations.
