Job summary

Talent Candey is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Newlands East, KwaZulu-Natal. You will provide financial analysis and business insights to support strategic decision-making across multiple entities.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, monthly management reporting, variance analysis, inter-company accounts, and partnering with operational managers to drive growth. Strong Excel and Sage 200 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related qualification.
• SAIPA / CIMA studies (advantageous).
• 2–5 years' experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role.
• Experience in Retail, FMCG or QSR environments is highly advantageous.
• Strong inter-company accounting experience and ERP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Analyse data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Manage inter-company accounts across multiple entities.
• Partner with operational managers to provide financial guidance.
• Prepare reports for senior management.
• Support month-end and year-end processes.
• Ensure financial information is accurate and submitted on time.
• Improve financial processes and reporting efficiencies.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
